Status:
A friend came over for an overdue catch-up which was lovely. Afterwards I had a mini crash and slept for a bit longer than I was intending. Probably due to shit sleep last night rather than their company, though one never can tell.
Very few links today. Suddenly it was 10pm and I’d read fuckall. Some days are like that. Check out the archives if you’re in need. Monday was a good day, iirc.
Overnight listening:
- Origin Story: Blue Labour - mostly about Maurice Glasman who comes across as an utter wanker with few redeeming qualities. Bonus Steve Bannon appearance too, with whom he has regular chats. Bannon collects left-leaning bigots with grievances so this isn’t a big surprise.
Music:
- Agartha by Wata Igarashi - the track Mineral came up on Night Tracks and did weird but good things to my brain so I immediately looked up more by this Japanese ambient techno dude. This album is his take on 70s German cosmiche which helped me settle into my nap today.
