Quite soon after I woke up this morning a trip to Kings Heath was suggested. My sister and her family were going to Queens Heath, a small local Pride event with market stalls and the like, and would we like to join them. I was wary but decided fuck it, I need to start getting out there again. I managed to walk the length of it with earplugs in and then we went for a coffee in a slightly quieter area.
I have no idea what the event was like. Everyone seemed happy. Good for them.
One of my CFS recovery goals is to go to a cafe. Today doesn’t really count as I didn’t go under my own steam and Fiona was there too as my safety net. But it’s a warm-up.

- Fire Tribes and Stateless Worlds — A conversation between Bima Satria Putra, David Wengrow, and Stevphen Shukaitis about anarchism in pre-colonial Indonesia. Fascinating stuff. Also has some tit-bits about Wengrow’s new work building on his colaborations with David Graeber.
- Paste And Match Style is not the answer — I would rephrase this as “the only answer” as it very much is the answer sometimes. As much as I love it, I too use the paste into a Markdown editor and back out again trick when archiving text from the internet.
- How to roll dice with cards — “d12 - Draw from the faces deck. Hearts ♥️ J, Q, and K are 1 to 3, spades ♠️ are 4 to 6, diamonds ♦️ are 7 to 9, and clubs ♣️ are 10 to 12."

- The Miles Davis Story 5. Lost and Found — These things are tricky to conclude when the subject’s best work is in their early years, but the final concert sounds lovely.
